Greetings and Good Tidings, All.

Wrong Season?

Well allow me to describe the setting we will have awaiting your arrival to the party.  It’s a crisp sunny Fall day.  As you approach Pier Park Beach the smell of wood burning in the beach bonfire beckons you.  Friends smile and come to greet and welcome you as your eyes take in the passing freighter out on Lake St. Clair.  As you work you your way to say your hello’s you hear Cheers erupt as half the crowd gathered around the tent, just watched their team score a touchdown on the Big Screen TV.  A friend comes up behind you with a pat on the back, they hand you your favorite beer or glass of wine.  As you take your first sip, your senses are alive with the beauty you see, hear, taste,  and then smell, as the Lobster’s steaming on the beach make their presence known to you.  They are Live 1 3/4- 2 lb Maine hard shell lobster too!  We are not screwing around folks.  Only the best for you!

For those of a more carnivorous nature we will have Prime Tenderloin Filet for you.  Bring your appetite!  You will be enjoying Two 8 oz. filets.  We want you to get your money’s worth too!  If one is enough, give the other to your partner for Surf N Turf.

Traditional New England sides of corn on the cob steaming on the lobster bake and red skin potato’s and plenty of melted butter and lemon slices.

Beer and Wine are available to compliment your afternoon among friends by the fire, enjoying the sights, sounds and beauty.

We are asking that you bring your folding chairs for the beach. Picnic tables will be available.  Please bring your own plates, silverware, and lobster crackers.

We also asking if we have any “Tailgaters” among us who might be kind enough to share their Big Screen TV, we will assuredly keep out of harms away neath the cover of the tent and protected against wind from falling.  Or if any of you have a TV not on a wall mount that you can bring and share.  A Park ranger golf cart will be available to transport it from your car, and back at nights end.

Now the weather may have something to say about this so, unless it is a dandy of a day, if need be, dinner will be in the Great Room.  After dinner we can all go back out to the beach to enjoy an evening bonfire by the water.

Here is the best part.  Well maybe not the best, because that experience above is tough to beat, but the price for all of this wonderful food & drink, ambiance and experience is only $50/person!

Tickets must be paid in advance so that we know how many to buy for.  Pay for your ticket on the club’s site at www.gpfbc.com/pay.  Please remember to select whether you wish to enjoy Lobster or Filet that we may order and have it for you to go annihilate.

Please also eagerly RSVP to this evite, that we may being planning for all who wish to attend.  Friends & Neighbors are welcome.  They are after all, just future Boat Club Members in the making!.

Like the End of Summer Party, this event too promises to be a Can’t Miss Event of the new Fall Season.
